Prior to Workly Law, Jan worked on eDiscovery, financial regulation, anti-money laundering, policy drafting, and conflicts of interest matters. He co-authored a publication on evidence law featured in the McGill Law Journal.

J.D. from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law. During his studies, Jan completed an exchange at Université Panthéon-Assas in Paris and served as a research assistant in corporate and securities law.
