Heather is an employment, labour and human rights lawyer who provides advice and advocacy with respect to all aspects of workplace law. Her clients include employers, employees, and corporate counsel and professional advisors involved in transactions and restructurings. Where workplace issues arise, Heather has a passion for crafting unique and novel litigation strategies and is a zealous advocate for her clients in every step of the litigation process. In addition to providing advice to employers and employees, Heather works alongside corporate counsel on corporate transactions and business restructurings, providing advice and guidance on the complex labour and employment issues that can arise throughout corporate transactions and restructurings. She has litigated in the Ontario courts including the Divisional Court.
Prior to completing her Juris Doctor at Queen’s University in 2015, Heather obtained a Master of Public Administration from Queen’s University. Before to commencing her legal career, Heather worked in senior advisory positions with the provincial government, where she gained unique insight into the legislative process and has been able to use this knowledge in advocating for her clients.
