Jan is building an employment law practice and provides support on workplace matters such as wrongful dismissal, partnership disputes, and human rights issues
Before joining Workly, he consulted on eDiscovery, financial regulation, anti-money laundering, policy drafting, and conflicts of interest. He also co-authored a paper on evidence law that was published in the McGill Law Journal. A passionate writer, Jan maintains a personal blog with short essays inspired by his previous studies in philosophy. He speaks French, German, and Czech, and is a competitive tennis player.

Jan articled at a boutique employment and labour law firm in Toronto and went on to work for a legal publication in the field. He obtained a J.D. from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law, where he completed an exchange at the Université Panthéon-Assas in Paris and served as a research assistant in the areas of corporate and securities law.
