Sunira is a litigator and the founder of Workly Law. She practices employment law and represents both employer and employees with respect to wrongful terminations, executive compensation issues, constructive dismissals, partnership disputes and human rights issues. She also represents parties with respect to online work including the negotiation of contracts for content creation, online consulting and social media collaborations. She has represented clients at the Ontario Court of Appeal, Divisional Court, Superior Court of Justice and the Human Rights Tribunal and Human Rights Commission.
Sunira attended Osgoode Hall Law School where she obtained her J.D. She started her legal career at a leading Toronto litigation boutique followed by serving as partner at one of Canada’s leading employment law firms.

Sunira has also previously served on the Board of Directors of the South Asian Bar Association, Toronto Chapter as Co-Chair of Advocacy in addition to several other roles focusing on community outreach and inclusivity issues in the legal profession. She currently serves on the board of the Canadian Taxpayers Federation.
